AHSG Goes to DiscoverE (for Engineering!)

Come and explore the world of engineering and how engineering affects all professions. This presentation is open to area homeschooled students ages 12 and up. The presentation dives into the many different facets of the engineering profession through the use of lecture and video presentation. A practical engineering activity/demonstration is provided to give the students a task to help discover what engineering is all about.

The presentation is being given by Bob Ierardi, Advisory Engineer for the Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems Division. The presentation will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM on Friday, April 22, 2005 at the New Covenant Church, located at 365 Jones Station Road, Arnold, Maryland (down the street from Anne Arundel Community College on College Parkway).

The presentation/demonstrations will last approximately 2 1/2 hours and is open to area homeschooled students ages 12 and up (limited to 30 students). Registration is open now! The workshop is free, and you don't have to be an AHSG member to attend.
